Service Component
Opportunities will be given each month for candidates to fully participate in service to the parish and the community. Candidates must be involved in giving of their time and talent at least once a month.* Those experiences will be documented in their journals. Forms for small service projects can be found on the parish website or from Mrs.K
Candidates will be asked to complete at least 3 large service projects* as part of their Confirmation preparation and reflect upon them in their journals.
†One large activity completed by December 31, 2011
†Second large activity completed by April 30, 2012
†Third large activity completed by August 1, 2012
Each large service project should be completed with at least one of the following:
* Family Member (parent,brother,sister,aunt ,uncle,cousin, or grandparent)
* Sponsorthe
* St. Adalbert Parish community
Each group of people listed above must be involved in at least one project
Please note this is a minimal requirement. We encourage you to participate in as many activities as you are able.
